Artist and the Swordsman - Part 5He was slightly curious as to why nobody knew about this castle, even though it was so close to his town. There was a story about a family who lived in these woods several generations ago, but it couldn't be these people could it? A cursed castle. Though nobody knew exactly what the curse was, everyone knew not to go looking for it.

Hikaru didn't dare ask, just following the cloaked lord. The cloak swished suspiciously, catching the brunette's curiosity. He wanted to reach down and grab the swishing part of the cloak, but kept himself back. Who knew how stupid that idea was.

Probably really bad…

Artist and the Swordsman - Part 4They reached the forest rather quickly, Morgan pushing herself as fast as her legs would take her. She knew that Hikaru could handle the speed, since the boy had been with her since he was small. Since both of them were small really. She spotted a log and leapt over it, but not before tossing her head to warn Hikaru she was going to jump. They had built signals for each other, knowing they'd need it to navigate through this forest together.
